Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts various competitive examinations for selecting candidates for various Central Government Organizations. To recruit candidates for Defence sector UPSC conducts Combined Defence Service (CDS) Exams twice in a year. Through This examination UPSC will place candidates into IMA, INA, Air Force Academy and Officers Training Academy. UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2016 Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who want to apply for UPSC CDS 1 Exam 2016 must have completed Degree or equivalent from a perceived university for Indian Military Academy/Officers Training Academy, Bachelor of Engineering for Indian Naval Academy and Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level/ Degree or Bachelor of Engineering from a recognized University for Air Force Academy. Candidate must either be a Citizen of India, or a subject of Bhutan, or a subject of Nepal. Applicant age must be between 20 to 24 years as on 1st January 2016, and candidates must be unmarried.
