KEA Assistant Professor Recruitment 2015 Eligibility Syllabus and Exam Pattern


Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has been released a Recruitment notification 2015 for employment of 1298 Assistant Professor posts you can apply online mode through the official website from 28th January 2015 and you can apply till the date of 28th February 2015. Candidates who are willing to apply for Assistant Professor Vacancies can apply for KEA Assistant Professor/Faculty vacancies 2015 through online. Applications are invited from the highly talented candidates who had Graduate Degree are going to fill the above mentioned vacant positions. All the applied candidates will be shortlisted through written test and interview. All of the applicants will be having written examination in the months April/May 2015. Authority to conduct Competitive Examination for recruitment to the posts of Assistant Professors in Government First Grade Colleges in the State of Karnataka. Once the application process has been completed candidates will be intimated by the written test and interview dates. Candidates can refresh the official website of KEA for written test dates.

KEA Assistant Professor jobs 2015 Eligibility Criteria and Selection process:

Candidates should hold Post Graduate/ Master Degree in relevant subject with 55% marks from any reputed University/College and declared NET/ SET and aspirants age limit minimum 22 years and maximum of 40 years. Upper age limit is relaxable to candidates belonging to reservation category as per government rules and regulations. Selection process will be done on the basis of written exam and interview.

KEA Assistant Professor Exam Pattern & Syllabus 2015:

KEA Examination 2015 will consists 2 papers, one is Compulsory Papers and the other one is Optional papers.

“Compulsory papers” covered subjects are like English, Kannada and General Knowledge. Each paper will be held for 100 marks for a time period of 2 hours. All the questions will be multiple choice type questions for English and GK and Objective type of questions for Kannada papers. There is a no negative marks for any wrong answer.

“Optional Papers” will have consisting of 200 marks with duration of 3 hours. The questions will be of multiple choice type with four options and choose one correct answer from 4 options. The applicants can chose the language to attempt the optional paper that is either Kannada or English.  PG Level questions of elective subject will be given in this paper. The optional subject’s details are mentioned in the official notification, please refer official notification.
